He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds an MSc in Finance and Investments.<\/p>\n<p>He will present strategies on linking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zimining.co.zw\/index.php\/2026\/03\/29\/workplace-safety-law-zimbabwe\/\">workplace safety<\/a> to pension sustainability, stressing that accidents reduce workforce participation and long-term contributions. \u201cOur mission is to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zimining.co.zw\/index.php\/2026\/03\/01\/zimbabwe-mineral-export-ban-union-response\/\">protect workers\u2019<\/a> futures, and that begins with ensuring their safety today,\u201d Taruvinga said.<\/p>\n<p>The conference, organised by the Mining Health and Safety Series and supported by Ghana\u2019s Minerals Commission, will feature sessions on accident prevention, compliance, and digital safety tools. Organiser Ing. Pearl Delali Dwira said: \u201cThis is about building a culture where miners return home safely every day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zimining.co.zw\/index.php\/2025\/12\/30\/planetgold-zimbabwe-says-mines-bill-misses-key-gaps-in-artisanal-mining-reform\/\">Key challenges in mining<\/a> include deeper mines, declining ore grades, tailings governance, and worker wellbeing. Rising demand for minerals tied to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zimining.co.zw\/index.php\/2025\/11\/15\/vast-lithium-reserves-position-zim-as-key-player-in-clean-energy-transition\/\">clean energy<\/a> adds pressure on production.<\/p>\n<p>Other speakers will include government officials and technical leaders from across Africa.
